We recommend arriving directly to Morelia through one of a number of US connections.  If this is not possible for you, the alternatives are Mexico City and Guadalajara.  Below we have provided travel tips for all three points of arrival.

Getting to Morelia

Most guests fly direct to Morelia (MLM) for our butterfly tours.  Continental Airlines offers direct flights from Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego and Houston.  Airport pick-up is included for Morelia airport.  Alternately, guests can fly into Mexico City or Guadalajara, both of which have numerous flights throughout the US and Canada.  From Mexico City and Guadalajara guests can take a luxury coach to Morelia (about three and a half hours).  The documents below offer detailed information for getting to Morelia.
